Hey everybody! My name is Joy and I'm a Pre-Med student living in Florida. Dance has been my passion for as long as I could remember, and I've been studying dance seriously for about 6 years now. I started with the Dance Tutorials Live Youtube channel, but as soon as DNCR was released I signed up and have been a member ever since. I took a break from dancing for a while, but I can't wait to get back into it on this new platform!

Hi I'm Calista

I'm 24 years old and I've been taking classes since before DNCR. I remember back when it was dance tutorials live. I remember the 10 minute dance challenges with Bailey Sok and Kaycee Rice and Sean Lew and I would train all the time with the YouTube videos. Then Matt created DNCR and it was a life changer. I never had formal dance training but I always been passionate about dance. Getting to take his classes. I've seen myself go from not really hearing the music to hearing it, picking up the details, having levels and textures, and really hitting those pictures. Matt, dance tutorials live and DNCR was a huge part of that and I don't know where I'd be without it but I'll continue and see where my dance journey takes me. I'm just so grateful to be part of this amazing community and to be able to learn even though I don't live in California.

I’m so excited for this new app!🙌 I have been a member of dncr academy since June 2021, but been a fan and follower of Matt and his old YouTube channel "dance tutorials live" since 2014. I have been a little absent from dncr academy and some of the challenges the last year, because of health issues. I’m finally recovering and excited to test out my dancing skills again after several months of illness. Hey Everyone my name is D'Angelo I just turned 28 as of last week and I'm from Ohio. I tencially started out doing tap dancing but that wasn't for me. Then did musical theater but ultimately hip hop is where I found my love for dance at. I started watching Matt's videos in High school and continued on and learning his dances in school and sort of became the hype man/ life of the party I guess by just dancing to his choreography at events. Which was a major confidence booster for me since I was a shy kid that was bullied a lot and thanks to those videos it helped me break out of my shell. I'm so excited to be more apart of Dncr academy and to hopefully upload my dances on here. Matt if you are reading this thank you so much for this platform I hope to meet you in person one day and take a live action class with you.
